From the President of Franklin Meadows – Ed Fromm

Dear Franklin Meadows Residents,

I would like thank several people for their hard work and dedication to our great neighborhood. I would like to begin by thanking Neil Funk for everything he has done over the last two years as our social director. It takes great "courage" for a brand new homeowner to take on that task and I would like to thank Neil for everything he has worked on to make our events fun and well organized. The board is also thankful that Neil has decided to stay on as our new Newsletter / Website Director. We look forward to some needed upgrades with our lines of communication. Secondly, I would like to thank Laura Brown for serving as our Treasurer for the last year. She did a great job of organizing and keeping our books up to date. We wish you luck in your new endeavor and look forward to you coming back to the board in the future.
I also want to thank our other current board members for their hard work. John Genrty, our Maintenance Director, has had a very busy year with securing a lower bid for our lawn service, taking care of the walking paths, the cleaning of the courts in the big park, dealing with the clean up of the August storm, and now the updating of the 22 Mile entrance. It takes an incredible amount of time to secure the best deals and also do the best job for the neighborhood. A big "thank you " also goes out to Bill Olson, Karen Hebel and Lisa Fromm for all of their hard work with their departments. This has been a great board to work with and I look forward to another two fun, productive two years.
That being said, I would like to introduce our new board members. Kathryn Goettsch has volunteered to take over the duties of Treasurer. Kathryn is a licensed CPA with a masters in accounting. She is also looking to do some part time tax return work out of her home so be sure to check out her information on the services page. A big "welcome" also goes out to Ray and Jessica Buzenski as they have volunteered to take over the Social Director's position. I know they are excited to get started, but not as much as they are to get back into their house after the August storms. We wish them luck as they try to wrap up that monumental task.
